Prices

The Visitor Center and all demonstations outside the Ottenshoes are always free of charge.

Entrance tickets to the Ottenshoes are €5 for adults and €2,50 for children. Family and Group tickets are available.  Please see the Activities page for more information.


Opening times

High Season: From April 1st to the end of the Fall vacation we are open from 10:00 to 17:00, Tuesday through Sunday.
July and August: We are open every day from 10:00 to 17:00.
Low season:  From Fall vacation to the end of March we are open only on the weekend, from 11:00 to 17:00. Open for groups by appointment, please contact us in advance to make a reservation.
Holiday hours: We are also open everyday during Spring and Fall school vacations, and during Christmas break, except for Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Public toilets are located in Het Ottenshoes. There is also a handicap accessible toilet and baby-changing room.
Wheelchairs are available for hire for a fee of €12.50/day, of which €10 is a deposit. Inquire at the ticket counter in Orvelte Poort.

Parking

Parking in the village and along the road is not permitted. Please follow the blue signs for P1 or P2 and use the car park. Orvelte Poort is within walking distance of the both parking lots.

For the parking lots P1 and P2 in Orvelte paid parking applies between 9:00 and 19:00. Outside these hours the barriers are open.

A day ticket for parking is 4 euros at the pay machine located in both lots. You must buy a day ticket immediately before you leave P1 or P2.

When P1 and P2 are full you can use the day ticket to park on the overflow parking areas designated by the Orvelte parking managers.

Exit is only possible after payment. The parking lot is monitored by cameras.
